A Fine book in a Fine dust jacket, Third Edition, 4vo. Text in French.  No date, no author attribution, circa 2001. White paper-covered boards in a white paper dust jacket. Dark blue lettering on front panel and dust jacket spine. Covers have a few tiny marks on back and slight bumping to tips and head and tail of spine, else clean and intact, binding tight. Dust jacket has minuscule age toning and a few small marks, else pristine and intact. Dust jacket protected in a paper-backed mylar sleeve. Pages pristine and intact. Principally black-and-white facsimile reprints of artists' signatures and monograms. A few pages of advertisements with color illustrations in front. 484 pp., including illustrations. Fascinating catalog featuring an alphabetical index of nineteenth- and twentieth-century artists' signatures and monograms. Some artists have multiple entries representing changes to their signatures or monograms over the years. The following is a mere sampling of artists whose facsimile signatures or monograms are included herein: Gustave Courbet, Sonia Delaunay, Henri Matisse, Norman Rockwell, and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
