ISBN: N/A

Gray paper wrappers with white lettering on spine. Full-page illustration (predominantly in black, gray, and white) on front cover. Covers have light rubbing and a few small bumps along edges, else clean and intact, binding tight. Pages have slight wear to extremities, else clean and intact. Replete with color illustrations. RARE in the trade. Beautiful exhibition catalog published on the occasion of a show that was held from April 6-June 1, 2008 at Palazzo Massari in Ferrara, Italy. The featured artist of the show was Mona Hatoum (b. 1952), a Palestinian-British artist. She is perhaps best-known for her mixed-media artworks and installation art. Many of her works address themes of displacement, female identity, family, and political conflicts. Curated by Lola G. Bonora. Forewords and other parts of the text are exclusively in Italian. The two essays by Whitney Chadwick and Alex Ohlin are bilingual in Italian and English. Acquired from the private library of Photorealist Robert Bechtle and art historian Whitney Chadwick.
