Description: Staple-bound full-color pictorial stiff wrap with image of Stuart’s work to front, image of Stuart’s work on black background to back, black text to front, semi-translucent endpapers. Very mild edgewear, mild shelf wear, otherwise pristine. 24 pp. Replete with full-color and black-and-white images of Stuart’s works throughout. Essay by Richard Foreman, poem by Hildegarde of Bingen, and quote by Michelle Stuart. A collection of Stuart’s works inspired by nature that were on show at Bellas Arts in Santa Fe. From Richard Foreman’s essay: “Ponder a proliferating series of panels upon which real seeds, each isolated in his/her own square space, seem to ‘bleed’ against their paper ground–leaving a blur, or smear, or stain against which the sed itself seems to have lost its life blood.”
