Unpaginated, replete with full-color images, biography, and essay by Curator and Publications Manager Ed Schad, first published in the March 2015 issue of Art Review Magazine. Published on the occasion of the exhibition showcasing the paintings of the late Robert Olsen from 1997-2014 at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex, Los Angeles from November 8 to December 20, 2014. From the essay: "Olsen's images are sharp and isolated, sometimes thrown into the harsh glare of a spotlight or apparently, at times, glowing from within...It is a pity that Olsen is not better known. At their modest, reserved best, Olsen's paintings connect to the deepest strains of history, while staying relevant to how we live right now."
