This is the 1975 edition of Fitz Hugh Ludlow's famous autobiographical account of his psychedelic and mind-altering experiences when using hashish or cannabis extract. Fitz Hugh Ludlow (also, Fitzhugh Ludlow; 1836-1870) was an American author and journalist. He is perhaps best-known for The Hasheesh Eater which was first published in 1857. Illustrations by Satty.
