Berry, Ian, and Michael Duncan. Richard Pettibone: A Retrospective (Saratoga Springs, NY; Laguna Beach, CA: The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College; Laguna Art Museum, 2005).
English, First Edition, Fine, HC, 4to or 8vo , 10" x 10," 191 pp., including illustrations.
ISBN: 0972518894

First Edition. Fine green paper-covered boards with black, white, and orange lettering on spine. Covers have light rubbing, else pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Pages have light age toning, else pristine and intact. Replete with color illustrations. Beautiful exhibition catalogue published on the occasion of a retrospective that was held at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia; the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York; and the Laguna Art Museum in Laguna Beach, California, from 2005-2006. The exhibition featured the work of Richard Pettibone (b. 1938), an artist who is perhaps best-known for his "appropriation art" based on pre-existing works of art.
